The Toivo (hope) serie is designed by Heikki Hartikainen. He was inspired by an old compass from which the design language of the jewelry was born. Heikki was fascinated by the idea of how the compass and the stars in the sky have once been the only tools that seafarers have used to find their home port. Toivo jewelry and especially the star in the center of it symbolize coming home and the feeling of familiarity and security that home evokes in us.
