FinnTouch presents: Kalsarikännit tasting for the 10th anniversary
FinnTouch celebrates a milestone anniversary. What began 10 years ago as a Finland blog, supplemented by the social media channels Facebook and Instagram, quickly developed into a lively community of passionate Finland fans. On March 20, we will be celebrating our anniversary with an extraordinary evening – at Little Finland Hanau or via livestream in your living room!
It all began in 2016
When I look back on the past decade, I am grateful for so many amazing moments and encounters that I would never have had without FinnTouch. To be honest, I would never have believed all the brilliant things that would happen when I clicked on “publish” at the ITB in Berlin in March 2016 and www.finntouch.de went live. In no time at all, the number of followers on social media rose to levels I had never dared to dream of. I was constantly on the road in my second home and great projects were created, such as the collaboration with Nordis magazine, which continues to this day. One of my first professional cooperation partners was Little Finland.
With Kalsarikännit through the corona era
Then came the shock: in 2020, the world suddenly came to a standstill. During the coronavirus pandemic, we had to stay at home and at times were not even allowed to travel to our beloved Suomi. In the midst of these difficult times, a format was created that only brought the community closer together and provided a total of 20 entertaining evenings: the Kalsarikännit livestreams with myself and my dear co-host Tanja Frisch as well as selected guests were a guarantee for a good mood in challenging times.
An emotional revival – just for one evening
Three years after the last stream, we are bringing that feeling back for one evening. And this evening will not only be an emotional revival for all those who were there back then. We will of course look back on the best moments from back then and review the highlights of 10 years of FinnTouch. But we are also looking ahead, looking forward to future trips to Finland and new adventures. As part of the stream, there will be 10 exclusive Finland tips to remember or write down. And of course you can ask questions – live on site or via chat from home!

Meanwhile, we taste three great Finnish craft beers and the brand new MIN Gin Long Drink, which is brand new on the German market. Finally, you can get a real Lonkero with gin and grapefruit flavor in this country – made in Finland with natural ingredients, ready-to-drink and in the Finnish tradition since 1952. And this is how it works: Order the tasting package online here and join us live on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 8 p.m. for our stream, which you can watch for free at www.twitch.tv/finntouch. You can also watch Twitch without an account. However, I recommend a short registration (costs nothing) so that you can also participate interactively via chat. As this is a hybrid event, you can also join us on site as an alternative to the sofa. We will be streaming from the Little Finland Shop & Café in Hanau (Lindenstr. 5). In this case, you can also reserve your tasting package there (hanau(at)littlefinland.de) and get it chilled in your hand there in the evening. Please order and reserve by 10.03. at the latest – as the packages are strictly limited to 40 pieces, it is quite possible that they will be sold out before then. More than half were gone in less than 24 hours. Act fast is the order of the day!
