Karhu's first surface yeast beer, Karhu IPA, has been on the market since 2018 and was previously available at 5.3% ABV under the name Karhu Ruis IPA.

The can is still adorned with a bear artwork by artist Jani Tolin. Tolin, who has gained international fame, defines his artistic direction as urban street art.
